Satyanarayan Sunday….April 21, 2019 (Day 111) by Prashant Fernented soaked crushed split husked chickpea lentils mixed with salt ginger n spices deepfried fritters (vati daal na Gota), finely chopped onions with lime n red chilli powder (dungri salad), deep fried green chillies salted (tarela marcha) & Indian spiced tea in milk (masala chai) for Sunday morning breakfast at my brothers home in Brampton!! Roasted semolina cooked in clarified butter/milk/cane sugar/slivered nuts/raisins/cardamom powder dry porridge scantified offering (sooji halva), fresh cut fruits n dryfruits for Satayanarayan pooja prasad in Brampton!! Boiled split husked pigeon peas lentil with peanuts dates tamarind lime jaggery salt n spices soup garnished with cilantro (khattimitthi Gujarati dal), steamed long grain basmati rice (bhaat), eggplant potato tomato curry (ringan bataka tomato shak), deepfried sundried urad lentil flats rice flour flats rice flour coloured snacks (papad papdi fryums), sundried boiled lime beans curry (rangoli Vaal), cucumber stirred yogurt (kakdi raita), chickpea flour thick strained spiced crouckets (fulvadi), deepfried whole wheat flour fluffy flat breads (Puri) & Gujarati dessert sweet balls made by coarsely grinding deep fried whole wheat flour dumplings mixed along with cane sugar dry fruits cardamon nutmeg n clarified butter to be shaped into golf size balls coated with poppy seeds (Churma ladoo) for Sunday lunch at my brothers home in Brampton!!
